SIX MONTHS! (oh my how time flys...)

Ooops!  Three months have slipped by since our last entry.  What can I say?  He's a busy little guy :)

First off,  lets take a look at our bear pictures.   It's incredible how babies change and develop.... STARTING FROM THE BEGINNING---->

six month old boy!

We had a great time in Hawaii with our family and friends.   TJ loved the water, warm air and being with his uncles and grandparents.  The weather was gorgeous most of the time and we ended up staying a month longer than we had planned.  We sure do love and miss Hawaii :)  It was nice to spend TJs first Christmas and New Years in paradise.  Definitely a memorable first Holiday season as a family.  We finally made it back to Mammoth at the end of January for some beautiful spring weather that lasted a few weeks.  But the snow is back now.  And its nice to be home.

WOW!  Now our boy is sitting up, talking all kinds of baby talk and recognizing our voices.  He is trying to crawl and get to where he wants to,  but lucky for us he hasn't quite figured that out yet.   Hopefully we can get this place baby-proof  before he gets moving.   Overall he is a happy boy with TONS of energy.  I'm tired already and tired just thinking of what is to come!  I have been back to work part-time and TJ has been staying home with Dad!  It's going very good.  TJ started eating rice cereal last month,  which he loves,  and that was a good help when leaving him.   Its been very good for them both :)

I can't believe he is already one-half year old.  Soon as we know it,  hes going to be one and walking.  Hopefully it won't take me that long to get another post in here!   All is well.  TJ is very strong and healthy and we couldn't ask for more.

3 months!

We love Dr. King!

Oops!  A month has gone by...  things get busier as this boy grows!   When we went to the doctor for his two month check up he weighed in at 12lbs 11oz (75%) and 24inches (90%)!!   He is a big strong boy with chubby chubby cheeks.   Dr.King gave us the okay for travel to Hawaii.  Yay!
November was a good month for us.  TJ is becoming more vocal and the smiles are awesome!   He loves checking everything out and has his favorite toys for sure.  We pretty much just stayed home (the weather got cold!), enjoyed family time and waited for Thanksgiving to come and our trip to Hawaii!
Now we are here in Kona and loving the warm weather and being with Mom's family.   HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

2 Months Old :)

Two months old and growing!

And last months photo for comparison.

Lots went on this past month...  we took TJ swimming for the first time (6 weeks!) at Keough's.   Keough's is a public pool down in Bishop that is heated by natural hot springs and maintains a temperature between 86-90 degrees which was perfect for the little guy.   He did great just like he does in the bathtub.  It was fun!

Papa finally made it out to meet his first Grandson.   We had a great time driving around sightseeing the beautiful Eastern Sierras for a day,  then made the drive down to San Diego.   TJ did great in the car and the whole trip.  He's such a great baby!  We then went back up to Orange County to see more of the family and introduce baby to more people.   Always go, go, go down there-  we finally made it home a week later and its so good to finally be back.

Trying to be good,  but  PLEASE get me out of this seat!

Tomorrow (11/3) we will be bringing TJ in for his 2 month appointment.  We are sure that he is doing great and is very healthy,  but are curious just how much weight and height he has gained!  (Keep you posted) He is so much fun,  starting to baby talk and smile with those chubby cheeks.  We love love LOVE our boy!

5 week old boy

We've been meaning to get a new entry in here for about a week now.   Baby TJ likes our attention :)   New things going on...   chubbier cheeks,  more diaper changes, and growing growing growing!   He's almost out of his newborn clothing,  which we didn't imagine would happen so quickly.   He's content most of the time,  but he sure does like Mom or Dad to hold him!  Did I mention how cute he is?  :)

Told you he was rolling over!   We finally caught it on camera.    Please note that although on a couch this time,   he does do it while laying on a blanket on the floor and we have witnessed both front to back and back to front.   Craziness!!!

Our neighbors gifted TJ with this very plush bear and the idea of taking pictures of the bear with baby to track his growth.   We'll now take pictures on the first of every month and watch this boy grow!

Growing Boy!

Yesterday we took TJ for his 2 week(ish) checkup and he now weighs 7lbs 10oz and measured in at 21.5 inches!   His doctor was very impressed with his weight gain, growth and strength.   He's already trying to pick his head up and look around,  do baby 'push-ups', and he has rolled over a few times (scary,  but impressive) Atta boy TJ!   Mom and Dad are very proud.

TJ has been sleeping like a champ at night, waking only once in the morning hours to eat-  he's already so good to his Mama!   During the day he is awake and alert for an hour here and there,   always fun watching him look around and try to figure everything out.   We are all learning more about each other every day.  This is so awesome!   But how do you get anything done when all you want do is watch your baby sleep :-)?
